Welcome to my website and thank you very much for your interest in my work!
My name is Noemi and I was born in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, the last city of the Camino, where the remains of the Apostle Santiago, one of the twelve, are buried. I considered myself a thematic artist, with the themes of my paintings being drawn from my personal experiences.
Art has been always, since my early days, a main part of my life. As a primary school student, I used to go around all Art Galleries in Santiago regularly, visiting exhibitions from local artists on show. Art was also my favourite subject while a young student.
When I was 9 years old, my aunt Lourdes gave me a truly wonderful present: an easel, a palette and some oil paint tubes, tempting me to follow suit.
Many years has passed since. Recently, I found the confidence to share my paintings. I exhibited at ArtSource, Dublin, in 2025 and I will be returning this year again. My work has been selected for this year's Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition in Belfast and for the 148th Dublin Painting and Sketching Club 2026 Annual Exhibition. My paintings can be seen/purchase at The Hallows Gallery, Ormeaud Road, Belfast.

Here is where I work. In the comfort of my own house and in a room with a view to the garden, surrounded by the tranquility of nature and often with wonderful ambience music!
